Feeling good today
Went to a b-day party for devinam's pirate last night and had a great time. Didn't know most folks when we arrived, but got to chatting with several and found them cool. felipemcguire and I even invented a new drink--the Fuzzy Limey. I need to ask him what the proportions were, though. I forgot to do that last night. D'oh!
So yesterday I got some fantastic, helpful feedback from k-bob on my short story. I've done a fair amount of work on it based on that, andjenboo said she's hoping to finish reading it today. Once I get her fb, I can combine all of it and really sink my teeth into the editing. Then one more quick round back to them and then back to me; a final (draft) edit; and then submit it by the deadline and cross my fingers.
And this morning NordicBoy and I went for an hour-long walk, which was really nice.
