Folk Music and Rootbeer Floats

Here's the scoop: I got this from my friend, Rose. (Long story there. I'll tell you sometime if you haven't heard it already.) Her second CD is coming out soon and she's having a concert to promote it. Last time I saw her sing ([profile] carrot_cake67  and [personal profile] sunkrux  can tell you, too), it was a great evening of entertainment, so I'm definitely going. Anyone want to join me? Gotta support local talent, right? Right! And how can you say no to live music and rootbeer floats?! Details and links below.

Hi Everyone,

I hope summer is treating you all well! I wanted to let you know that I will be playing at Kenyon Hall (www.kenyonhall.org) in West Seattle on Sunday, 7/27 at 7pm. It will be an evening of Celtic and American Roots folk music with guitarist Michael Kirkpatrick. We will be promoting my new album, 'The Chicago Sessions'. We will also be having a special guest, singer-songwriter and traditional musician, Kat Eggleston (www.kateggleston.com)!!!! Kenyon Hall is a cool family friendly folky venue...and I'm told they have awesome rootbeer floats with husky ice cream AND popcorn for sale!
