Pierced anew

So, as planned, I got my bellybutton pierced yesterday evening at the fabulous Slave to the Needle. David, the piercer, was a total pro and very friendly. And in case anyone out there is curious, the procedure is less painful than either upper ear piercing or donating blood, and way less painful than a tattoo. The beautiful and talented jenboo  came with to be my courage and chauffeur (Thanks, jenboo!), and afterwards we went for drinks. We were joined at the restaurant by jaunthie  and fisherbear , fitanna, Nordic Boy, and luthien-t. Much fun! Now I get to spend several weeks soaking my piercing in salt water. Ah well. It's a good excuse to sit doing nothing for 10 minutes several times a day.  :)

Tomorrow night is XWP night at fitanna's. We're prepping for the con this weekend. Woo-hoo!
