missing out

So last night as I watched Fluellen go from shouting Dom to flinching sub when King Henry pansy-slapped him with a glove, it occured to me that people who don't do theatre have no idea the wacky shit actors get up to in rehearsals.  They are so missing out.  But on the other hand, it's good that there are people out there who believe in the mystique and glamour of live theatre.  It's funny, but it's good.

so even in a 2 month run you guys have pick up rehearsals?

Yup. It's pretty necessary when you change venue every week. With this group it's fun, too. And I'd never turn down extra chances to kiss the King. ;)

the one with the leek is the one who played ferdinand? he's the one I fed between shows. :) I'm all for feeding starving actors. he seems like he'd be a real card.
