A quiet, geeky weekend
Nordic Boy is playing in the snow with some of his family this weekend, so I'm home with the kitty and entertaining myself in fine, geekish fashion. I invited my bro over last night for stir-fry (one of the best I've made in a while, IMO) and "Doctor Who: The Christmas Invasion." :D It was a lovely, geeky evening. He loaned me some comics, too--JMS's first complete Fantastic Four story. ::happy dance:: I think I'll read them when I get home from rehersal later today. JMS writing FF; Joss Whedon writing X-men... It's time to get back into comic books, my friends.
Yesterday, between walks to various stores, I got in some good writing on Log 3:5. Well, I say "good", but I don't know how good yet. I haven't looked at it today. I need to rewatch Anomaly so I can tie it into this Log. I mean, someone's got to talk about the acutal mission, so it'd help if I had some decent notes and a fresh memory of what's up at this point.
Now I'm going to eat breakfast, catch up on a little email (assuming I have anything new to read), and enjoy my morning java before I have to drive up to Edmonds for my noon reharsal. The costumer will be there today. I'm looking forward to it. He's a friend of mine, and the last time I saw him was about 35 to 40 pounds ago. I admit it. I'm a drama queen sometimes. I'm hoping for a big reaction. ;->
