Summer Shakespeare a no-go

Well, I've been back in the country for four days now and I've never heard back on RIII.  I'm bummed that I won't get to do Shakespeare in the parks this summer, but I shall console myself by doing stuff I've not gotten to do the last two summers--like go to the Highland Games. :) Yes, it's not enough to have just come home from Scotland, I must see more men in kilts!  (There were a lot of them in Edinburgh last Thursday, too.  I think because it was election day.  How much d'you want to bet that every guy in a kilt was voting for the SNP? ;D)

I'm bummed, but I'll deal. I've realized I can also go to the belly dance retreat at Grand Coulee this summer now.

Well that sucks rocks. I don't suppose it's possible they've just failed to get back to you because they knew you were out of the country until about now?

Stupid them, if not. :-p Still, it'll be cool to get a chance to spend more time with you this summer.

I had thought of that, but I got home on friday, eh? I'm a little annoyed at not hearing at all because I just prefer a rejection call over no call. I know not everyone feels that way. And they never said they'd call either way. C'est la vie. There's always next summer to try again. Maybe they'll finally do King Lear. Or they could do Much Ado... again. Either would be way cool!

I am so sorry you didn't get cast. I was hoping to see you in another play this summer. Even my man has been asking when we'd be able to see you in something else.
