Food Pr0n!

Not even here does one tend to find smoked salmon on the menu at a pizza joint. That's why we like to make our own pizza. :D Tonight's consisted of:

Homemade crust (See Alton Brown for the recipe: Food Network. I refuese to wait for the page to load any longer.)
Garlic olive oil glaze
A sprinkle of dried oregano
Sun dried tomatoes
Marinated artichoke hearts
Pepper and garlic smoked salmon
Fontina and Ementhaler cheeses
Braised kale and
Fresh green onion for garnish

Serve hot from the oven with a bottle of Mike's Hard Lime and dine while watching The Searchers in HD DVD. That is one mighty fine dinner and a movie.

Yum!

We had pizza for dinner tonight, too. But with three small kids, our homemade crust was topped with a light brushing of olive oil, pizza sauce, canadian bacon, olives, pineapple, green pepper, and mozzarella. Boring, yes, I know, but yummy nonetheless. And at least my kids insist that homemade is better than delivery. :)
