Psst! vflick!

Super-seekrit message for [personal profile] vflick re: that commercial you asked about

You're not missing anything.  It makes no sense.

I discovered, when cuing the tape for The Tudors tonight that I have it recorded.  This also convinces me that it's a Canadian commercial and while I usually enjoy Canadian humour, this one escapes me completely.

The players are Hamlet, Ophelia, and the Ghost of Hamlet's father (which in itself makes no sense because the three do not appear together in the play, as I recall).

The best I can guess is that they're rehearsing in there because there's room for them since there are no giant boxes of frozen burgers in the way.  (Never mind the lack of chill effects, btw. It's only obious that it isn't really a freezer.)

Please tell me they've stopped airing as far as you know.  Although I did like "trainee knave!"  That was funny.

oh well, good to know it really is just a stupid commercial, and not just so clever I don't get it. I did think there was a long white breath though... (chill effect) but as far as I know the damn thing is still going strong. sigh.

Thanks! How was the Tudors? I'm away so I missed the premiere, but I was thinking about watching it...
