Water, water everywhere

Or so I see in the papers and on the news.  We've been very fortunate in that we live on a solid old hill, as do both my bro and my parents.  None of us have had power loss or flooding despite the record rains and gale force winds that have closed the interstate, state highways, schools, etc.  So if anyone was wondering and didn't already know, now you know.

The Queen Kitty slept though most of it or complained that she couldn't go outside because it was too damned wet for her liking. ;)

Ditto for us. Although head a mile in pretty much any direction, and people have lost everything. Pretty scary.

That's scary indeed. Can you get out yet? It's bone dry up here. Driving to and from the theatre last night there wasn't a drop of rain or even a clogged drain spewing water onto the streets. Hopefully you guys can make it to the Nutcracker tonight. ::crossing fingers::
