What a fabulous way to start a new year! So, what happens now? What's the (working?) title? Was this from NaNoWriMo? (this year? previous year?) Inquiring minds...

Thanks! This is the novel from NaNoWriMo 2006, in fact. (This year's novel isn't done yet. D'oh!)

Next, I get the contract, read it, and sign it. Then there's polishing to be done on the manuscript. The working title will I hope vanish into the ether, so I'll not mention it here. jaunthie knows it if you ask her; she gave it to me with the caveat that while it wasn't good, it was better than "TITLE". lol I will, of course be announcing (loudly) when the publication details are nailed down. ;D

Unless they've changed things drastically, you should be getting it as an e-mail attachment. Then you print, sign, and snail mail it in.

So don't worry about it showing up while you're gone -- it'll be there, waiting in cyberspace!

OT: Thanks for the message about Ry, too. Just got it today when I got back into cell service area. I figure I'll call her tomorrow. Tonight is for unpacking and catching up on email.

She called me earlier tonight and she's not sleeping because she can't sleep well on her back. :( Poor thing. She'll be able to sleep on her side in a couple days.

I finally unpacked from my trip to GA today. LOL Also took down my Christmas stuff too. yay.
