Blessed Beltane!

A year ago today I was in Edinburgh, having enjoyed the Beltane Fire Festival the night before.  If I lived there, I would go every year.

Eleven years ago today, I was at the zoo getting married.  I try to go there more than just every year. ;)

Yup. This one. There was a noisy peacock wandering around and "singing". :) We like to go on our anniversary. Being in Edinburgh last year, we took the opportunity to go to their zoo. The Penguin Parade was awesome! And they have such different animals than we do, which made it cool. They need new enclosures, though, and had just started working on them. I want to go back when they're done.

They didn't have the jaguar enclosure then. We went with the Beech Grove. It's big and easy to find, and it had a little cleaing across that path that made for a perfect green room.
