OMG, I did it again.

Yes, I hit the lake again. Thrice in a week. I am sick, sick. But until it passes I'm gonna roll with it and reap the benefits.

On another note, I made tofu chocolate mousse this evening. It should be ready about the time SG-1 Window of Opportunity starts. Now if only the Ms can win tonight--as they did yesterday against the fucking Yankees while I was at the game ::happy dance::--it'll be an almost perfect evening.

But I could still use another massage. Hopefully my rotator cuff will be sufficiently healed by the time the King is back from his vacation.

Speaking of rotator cuffs, I'm a little put off by Freehold. I emailed roughly 48 hours ago with a specific question, and they have yet to reply. SSC replied within a couple of hours when I emailed them. Harumph. Hardly the way to court potential students who want to give you money and take your classes.

if possible, give your money to anyone SSC recommends...Freehold is good and all, but i feel better to support the people who are just beginning and trying to get a handhold in...;) i'll email bob borwick again, and see if anything is on the horizon.

Cool. interested in whatever he's teaching, or a specific weapon?

gotcha. yeah, freehold structures their classes quarterly, with the idea that at the end of 3 quarters, the students will take their skills proficiency tests in the 3 weapons they learned. The first time you test in any weapon it used to be that it had to be a 3 weapon scene, which is what the freehold classes are geared toward. now, i'm not sure anymore. I'll let you know as soon as I've heard back from Bob. I hope he has something coming up, he's so much fun to work with! plus he's super funny. :)
