Small "yay me"

I wrote something this evening. Okay, it was one short scene, but I did write something. Considering the slump I've been in and the fact that yesterday's allergy shot is still with me in the form of plugged up sinuses all the way to my ears, I'm feeling a bit chuffed. So, yay me...a little bit.

It just occurred to me that I deserve more yays. I walked to the grocery store and the book store, which isn't a big deal. I went running with devinam, which is a moderate sized deal. However, I did these three things consecutively. So, again, yay me...a little bit more. :)

MythBusters are about to make a pair of pants explode. How cool is that? :D

A small yay for me, too. I've jotted down a small snippet of conversation in which Phil and Boomer argue about Phil possibily ruining an investigation by tainting evidence. Boomer is thinking about conviction, Phil is thinking about taking the guy down. Apparently they're not necessarily the same thing. *G*

Yes, yes! That's it precisely! Yay you, too! :D Part of me really wants to go home and write some more. Another part knows that if I were at home, I'd be
a) watching Dr. Who
b) embroidering (need to finish before going to SD)
c) crashed out with the cat "watching" (i.e. dozing to the calming sounds of) Food Network

I do, however, have my thumb drive here. ;-> Maybe I'll just plug that in...
