I'm sad for my boys of "summer".  I'm sad for the Indians.  I'm sad for the fans whose butts are probably freezing to the seats.  I'm sad for the grounds crew who are doing their damnedest to get/keep the field clear.

I was listening to the Ms commentators on my way back to work from class, and listened to them commending the grounds crew in Cleveland, and laughing at the same time, because as soon as they blew snow off one area it was covered again a minute later. A Sysiphysian exercise, I belive they called it. and no, I don't know how to spell Sysiphys...

You're effin' kidding me. 81 degrees??? That's just wrong for April. I remember everyone freaking out the one year it was 70 degrees on Easter Sunday.

Nope. Not kidding. Sick and wrong, yes. And in contrast to Cleveland, downright hilarious--esp. considering they were one strike away from: an official game; a no hitter; and a Mariers loss when the game was finally called after three snow delays. They're playing a double header tomorrow...they hope. Dave and Rick were clearly amused and a bit dumbfounded by the weather. lol
