A moment of silence please

At approximately 10:15 PST tonight, my coffee carafe left this life in a shatter of glass.  It served me well for nearly nine years, and its passing has been cleaned up and is currently being mourned.  ::hanging head::

Am I the only one who thinks there should be 24-hour kitchen stores for just such emergencies?

also a 24-hour sewing/fabric store.

I can't be the only one working on things at 3AM in the morning...

but you live in the land that Starbucks built, so you can still get a caffiene fix, regardless of the hour, and thus can cope (in some mediocre fashion) until the carafe replacement location is open for your business...
btw - the breaking of a coffee pot should be a national day of mourning!
bb - coffee ADDICT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ack! That is truly tragic. For the sake of world peace and neighborhood safety, I hope you were able to replace it today.
