A moment of silence please

At approximately 10:15 PST tonight, my coffee carafe left this life in a shatter of glass.  It served me well for nearly nine years, and its passing has been cleaned up and is currently being mourned.  ::hanging head::

Am I the only one who thinks there should be 24-hour kitchen stores for just such emergencies?

Oh I assure you you're not. ;) I was only up until 11:30 futzing with a cozzie last night, but it's not a dance cozzie so there was no real reason to stay up late. But I could still have used some trim.
