I'm having one of those days where I'm accomplishing things that aren't exactly the things I planned to accomplish.  Not that what I'm doing isn't good and useful, it's just not quite how I intended my day to go.  You know what I mean?

Here's what I planned to get done today:
Clean and fold laundry
Clean batthroom
Yoga
Make serious progress on round-robin fic

Here's what I've actually done today:
Clean and fold laundry - almost done, last load is in the dryer
Clean bathroom - it's easy when it's so small
Yoga - sort of, very, very abbreviated and not very satisfying
< 1000 words on round-robin fic  ::sigh::
Bring coats up from basement
Put away folding coat rack
Take boxes down to basement where their contents actually belong
Clean butcherblock in kitchen

Okay.  You're thinking, 'Why is she bitching about this?  It looks like a pretty damned productive day to me!'  Well, yeah.  It is.  And I'm okay with what I've gotten done except for one thing.  It's just that I'm getting hung up on that one thing, you know?  It's stupid, but there it is.  Maybe now that I've said it out loud (so to speak) I'll be able to deal with it more logically.  Cross your fingers for me.

I know what that one thing is, and cut yourself some slack on it. Some days are just like that, and fussing about it won't help. Just let it go, and remember, tomorrow is another day where you can take a fresh crack at it. :-D
