Back in cyberspace

monkeybardI spent two lovely days completely offline--by choice, not because of our dodgy internet connection. I got things done! I watched a movie! I baked cookies! I got way behind on my email and flist, but c'est la vie. Sometimes you just have to disconnect for a little while. I send you all virtual cookies in apology for ignoring you.
And now...now there is Mariners Cactus League play on the radio. Now I wouldn't go so far as to say that Dave Niehaus has "dulcet tones". Indeed far from it. But I will say his is the most welcome voice of the spring for me. And come on, I think we all know there isn't a man alive who can call a grand slam quite like our Dave. :D (Click that link, then under the picture click on "Sexon's big slam" with the audio icon. In comparison, click the video link after "Sexson's grand slam". Rick is okay, but he's no Dave.)
