some folks have the stupid idea that global warming means GETS WARMER to the exclusion of warmer somewhere-else means colder somewhere-the-third! sorry folks, but global warming means that the extremes become moreso, the norm rarely happens, the abnormal happens lots, and NO ONE is happy about any of it! deal!
yeah, snow like this, esp cancelling more than 1-2 games early in the season, is NOT NORMAL, and is a pretty damn good indicator that something has pissed off Momma Nature, and you'd better be doin' soemthin' about it, cuz Her next act is even more extreme, and you WILL like it a LOT less - comprende? ;) ;)
