Good stuff
Friday - Finally found out what's wrong with the finger that's been bugging me and so have proceeded with treatment that is simple and cheap.  Here's hoping it works.
More Friday - NordicBoy met me for lunch and then he helped me pick out new glasses frames.  They should be ready by the end of the week.
Saturday - See previous post re: Karl.  Got to talk to him for over an hour, and that is just made of happy.  He's the only person I can talk politics with without getting upset or angry.
More Saturday - Made really good progress towards finishing Log 3:8 a year after Log 3:7 went up.  Finally think I know what scene will end it and have begun writing the scene. This is the trouble I've had--not knowing how it ends. It's just kept getting longer and longer and...
Sunday - Took jenboo thrifting for costumes for her show.  Got everything we needed but one item in one stop at a St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store. It was so easy it was almost disappointing; we both like thrifting, but we only got to hit one store.  Also noticed there's a Children's Hospital Thrift Store not far from her house. Must check it out sometime since the Thriftko near there is no more.
More Sunday - Met up with old college roomie, MusicalDebra, for lunch.  Spent a couple of hours chatting and catching up.  Very cool and fun.  So glad to have reconnected with her!
Monday - Woke to find snow on the ground!

Bad stuff
Caught the cold that's going around.  I managed to avoid it even when NordicBoy had it for most of three weeks, but all it took was four days working in an office downtown and I am down for the count.  Bleh.
Too fuzzy-headed to do any real writing today.
Too tired to do laundry today.
Expect to accomplish nothing today, but at least I have an Odwalla C-Monster waiting for me in the fridge once I have the energy to get up off the sofa.

Ah, a fellow sufferer. (Well, I have back pain, not a cold...but am spending the day medicated, all the same.)

The snow was very cool to see! Even if it does mean that most of the residents will forget how to drive.

I've been meaning to ask... how was the party?

And there's no snow around my house! After so much buildup of the impending disaster on the weekend there was a brushing of snow but mostly it was rain. There was snow in other areas, but not really any either near work or home. Not disappointed really, but, yeah. Get a grip forecasters!

Just as well - Melanie is at her dad's (where there is snow - so she gets to play in it) so I wouldn't have anyone to play with. Kind of hard to do 1 man snowball fights.
