I'd not heard about him using his kid as the model for Toad. That's an interesting insight (and I pity the kid's parents/nanny/governess/teachers/etc.).
Outdoor theatre is a skill set all its own and takes practice, it's true. But you have all summer to master it, as I am sure you will. :)
