It's been a while
Feb. 18th, 2005 07:36 pmI haven't had much to say lately--and if you've met me in person you're either laughing or dumbstruck at that.
Life's been a little hectic, but not bad. Nothing exciting and new to announce. I did already say that Log 3:1 is at the betas', right? As is my novella. ::giggle, snort:: I just can't say "my novella" without laughing. It just sounds so silly and pretentious, don't you think? I mean, I wrote a novella... BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Sent more ENT-related letters--to nasty UPN bigwig dumbfucks and also to Paramount folks. I still need to write to Bonnie Hammer at Sci-Fi, but I'll get there.
I had a most pleasant day, actually. Got paid for a variety of things, went to the store, did a bit of writing on Log 3:2, had homemade pizza for dinner... All in all, a good day. Just not terribly eventful. I guess that's okay. Better than bad crap happening, eh?
A friend sent me a link to a brief article at the Puget Sound Business Journal. Apparently there's a hearing this Wednesday proposing to split Western and Eastern Washington into two states. It'll never happen, but I'd be well pleased if it did. If we can't join Canada, at least we should be able to get away from the red part of the state. They don't know what we need any more than we understand what they need, and I'm fucking sick of statewide initiatives when one half of the state simply hasn't a clue about the other. That's no way to get anything done.
