Thought for the day
May. 3rd, 2006 12:46 pmAt Weight Watchers today we were talking about whining to oneself and how to get out of that mind set. One of the things one person said she whined about was not having time to exercise or cook. I can relate to this any time I work downtown. Another member said something in response that really struck home. She said that in those kinds of circumstances she tells herself, "Self-care is my priority." How brilliant is that? So simple, and yet so easy to forget when you're stuck in an office all day and have little or no energy or motivation by the time you get home. This is going to be my mantra until something else strikes me as even better. I think it'll be around quite a while. :)
Self-care is my priority.
