My favourite summer tradition

The Mama-san and I have a long-standing tradition. A year must not go by without it. It is The Consuming of the Liverwurst and Onion Sandwich. It occurs yearly, as I said, and may only occur whilst the Walla Walla Sweet onions are in season. It would not be a Liverwurst and Onion Sandwich without the proper onions, after all. Today we thoroughly enjoyed our annual sandwich. I intend to enjoy one or two more as soon as I can get to the store to purchase a Walla Walla Sweet. I do wish liverwurst came in smaller packages, though. We don't need 12oz, thanks. Half that would be plenty. But what can you do? Only shrug it off and have another sandwich.  :D

There's a connection

The less I talk to people in the "Real World", the more I post on my blog. Needless to say today's been sort of quiet since I got back from the Rents' house. I'm feeling disconnected, which is silly because I spent much of the morning/mid-day with the Mama-san, Nordic Boy came home early, and I have rehearsal (fight call) tonight. And yet it remains: I feel disconnected today. Humbug.
