9:45 Saturday morning

Normally at this hour I'm hauling my ass out of bed--reluctantly.  Today, I've already had breakfast and made a quick run up to Central Market before the traffic and the crowds could get bad.  I guess that deserves a "Yay me!"

Is anyone else who uses NetScape having delay issues? Is Mercury in retrograde or something?  It's really starting to piss me off.


Must go.  Lots to do today, and I really want to accomplish as much of it as humanly possible.

I've earned a break, right?

I serged the fleece blanket for the Mama-san.
I burned two DVDs - one for me, one for JDI.
I walked to the bank - pointlessly, as it turned out because they closed at 1. :P
I added a couple of  thousand words to the short story I'm working on.  (I know that's not much, but I fleshed some stuff out and I feel the structure is much better now.)

So I deserve a break for dinner and some telly watching and some kitty time.  Right?  Right!  Good.

I've just spent two LOVELY hours reading gay erotic romance.  It makes me feel good about my own writing.  Not in the way Doc Savage does, but in that I read it and it was good, and I can do that too. 

Oh, and now AIM is crashing while I'm trying to chat with sunkrux.  F*ing Mercury.  F*ing Retrograde.  ::grumble, grumble::
