Random facts

• Current word count on new story:  25135.  Not sure how long it'll be, but I'm hoping to top 50,000.  I'd love to find a title, too.  ::sigh::  At least I finally found my Anonymous Narrator Quote for the beginning.
• I soloed at the Emerald Sanctuary Retreat this past Saturday.  Never done that before.  My song of choice:  1985 by Bowling for Soup.
• The Fuzzy Monkey website is updated, but I'm still hoping to get pics of our various performances this weekend to post.
• Saw Young Frankenstein at the Paramount last night.  V. v. funny, but definitely still needs some tightening and tuning before hitting Broadway.  I especially liked Frederick's (Roger Bart) song as he creates the Monster: Life!  Life!  Give my creature life!  V. old school horror flick feeling to it.  And who couldn't love Elizabeth (Megan Mulally) singing "Please Don't Touch Me", of which the refrain is "Tits, tits, tits, tits, tits, tits, tits!"?
• Off to meet up with devinam to run.  Wish us luck.  We really need it.
