Almost autumn means...
Sep. 21st, 2007 04:10 pm,..almost Halloween! :D Okay, not really, but close enough. The flights are booked; the hotel is booked; got the emailed invite from Ryalin; still need to book the rental car. But I know who I want to be and what I need to get/do for my cozzie! Unfortunately I have to wait until I get paid on Monday in order to go shopping on Tuesday. ::sigh:: I hate waiting. I really like to get my cozzie put together early so I don't have to rush at the end. At least I already have much of what I need. I just need to make a belt, find a shirt, and buy a wig, nail polish, and probably lipstick. Whee! Halloween is the BEST holiday!
On a completely separate topic, I spent nearly all freakin' day working on our slideshow DVD from our big anniversary trip this past spring. (No, it's not done yet. Shut up. :P ) There's only one chapter that I'm not entirely happy with because the music gets cut off. There are about 2.25 minutes of pics and 7+ minutes of song. I have an alternate song to put with it, but I want to see what NordicBoy thinks of it first. Still, I made really good progress. I put music to the Bath slideshow, the Edinburgh Zoo, and Beltane 2; added music to Edinburgh and the MadMax Tour slideshows; added pics and adjusted the Mangerton Tower / Milholm Cross show so it fit the single track of music that had to go with it; and did lots of little tweaks so shows and their music matched up better. So, yeah, that took a lonnnnnng time. I must give copious thanks to my kitty for her patience with me today because I was glued to that computer, and there's nowhere there for a kitty to snuggle up.
