Spa? Ahhhh!

Yesterday I spent several wonerful hours at the spa with devinam, lemurkitten, and a few friends of theirs.  Lovely.  Simply lovely.  Had a bit of lunch in the cafe. Most tasty, although pricier than I'd've liked.  Nothing was under about $8.  Hung out in the charcoal room (my fave) quite a bit, and even spent time in the sand and salt rooms for once.  They didn't feel as hot as I remember, so they were manageable.  I think I dunked myself in the chill pool four times.  *eep!*  But it felt so good after coming out of the steam room or the hot pool, you wouldn't believe.  I really need to splurge and get a full body scrub again somtime.  It's so...Mm-MMM!

Today has been less zen, but still good.  Ran some errands this morning (forgot to go to the toy store, d'oh!).  Added about 2,000 words to my new novel. Cleaned up the carnage left by the horsechestnut bombardment last night.  All in all, a reasonably productive day.

And tonight is DJDoughboy's b-day party.  Whee!  I won't be dancing 'til dawn by any stretch of the imagination, but a couple of hours of funk and groove, and a drink or two will certainly go down well. Oh yeah.
