My timing's gone to hell

Each time I feel ready to set to work either finishing up the edits/polishing on Log 3:8 or go through the beta K-Bob did on my follow-on novel it's at exactly the wrong time.  Like, for example, right now.  I have to leave in about half an hour, maybe 45 minutes.  Is that enough time to get anything done?  No.  Is it even enough to get my head into the right world?  Only just, and then I'd have to go.  Pooh.
