Fourth Festivities
Jul. 5th, 2009 10:13 amI hope everyone who was celebrating the Fouth of July had a good one! I certainly did. NordicBoy and I saw the latest Pixar flick, "UP". I loved it! Go see it. You will be sad if you don't. Seriously. Go. Go now.
On the way home we swung by Kidd Valley and split a Blue Cheese Bacon Burger and the yearly summer treat -- Walla Walla Sweet Onion Rings. Mmmmmmm! I loves me them Walla Walla Sweets!

jenboo and N came over, as did KiltedFairy and ShakespearesDen for homemade pizza and homemade ice cream. We watched National Treasure, which if you haven't seen you should. It's just fun. And then we watched the local fireworks in HD. Some odd music choices this year, but at least there was no f*ing Beastie Boys. It was a good show.
All in all, a most enjoyable holiday.
