Author's Note the First: A while back, the lovely and talented methylviolet10b wrote a fic called Doors [http://holmestice.livejournal.com/77505.html] for Holmestice. And then today, the evil and sneaky methylviolet10b gave me a plot bunny that is the offspring of that fic and this challenge. I've given it a home, food, and a chance to grow up to possibly spawn plot bunnies of its own someday.
Author's Note the Second: Telling me to get my mind out of the gutter is the fastest way to send it there. Although I am delighted with the mods' use of the word "spelunking".
