Open and running!

Woo-hoo!  We had a great opening last night!  And we managed to shave another five minutes off the show, so double woo-hoo!

My muscles just need to survive the weekend, and then they can have a day off.  I promised them that.  Tech week is always the toughest, particularly when there are fights.  It's one thing to run every fight twice before the performance, and then of course in the show three days in a row.  It's another thing entirely to do it seven days in a row, which it will be when the weekend is over.  But as we used to say in We're Not Your Mother, "Art is pain."

Now that we've opened, I  can focus some of my brain and energy (both running on a minimum, I admit) on stuff outside the show...if only my copy of the new Harry Potter would arrive.  ;)
