I had a fabu weekend in San Diego with jaunthie and fisherbear, visiting friends and attending their incredible Halloween party. Wonderful fun! ::happy dance:: Met David Franklin. ::more happy dance:: Next time I go to that party, I will bring Nordic Boy. More on all of the above later.

George Takei came out. Trek Fandom needed this. I'm happy for him that he is finally comfortable enough to come out. And I'm happy for Trek Fandom, from the out queers to the homophobes and everyone in between, because The Entire Fandom needed this.

You had fun at my evil twinny's...I'm jealous. I'm not jealous that you finally met David Franklin. He's a hoot isn't he? Such a sweetie!

For those who don't know, David Franklin is an Aussie actor. He did several eps of "Xena" but is more well known by some as "Captain Bracca" from Farscape. :D

David Franklin was the best of the actors to play Brutus on XWP. I tried to link to his entry on the IMDb, but there were issues.

It's sad to think that anyone could be devastated by someone else's happiness--or was it just that the fan you mention still held out childhood hopes of being his love-muffin? It is sad when the unattainablity of a dream is driven home.

Your evil twinny was evil indeed. Can't remember what she did/said, but someone called her quite evil. She said you'd be proud. ;)

David was very nice, very funny. He was dressed as a cop, and therefore forced to dance when the DJ closed out the evening with YMCA. It was too cute. The man has all the natural rhythm of...of...my friend Suzie. (I couldn't think of anything else with absolutely no natural rhythm. ;D )
