I can't imagine someone abandoning a religious practice that they believe in - or a church throwing someone out to be damned - because their parents gave them the wrong kind of bath when they were too young to sit up without assistance. I agree, however in my case I don't hold the beliefs I was raised with. I abandoned religious practise even before I could get out of going to church every Sunday. I went agnostic in middle school, athiest after college, and now am hovering in a half-defined realm of athiest-pagan-wiccanness.
