jenboo wonders how I could be dull.  That's so sweet...and deluded.  ;-)

The caffeine hasn't yet entered my blood stream, so who knows what's going to come out of my brain and get typed onto this screen?  Certainly not I.  ::pauses to sip java::  I didn't sleep much last night, so really I don't expect to say anything coherent.  I'll just babble and hope something vaguely intelligent comes out of my fingers.

So I finished a fic last week.  Log 2:27 from my Log Rhythms series.  I'm hoping against hope that it will be the last log for season two, but I have fear (as the French say).  I have this suspicion that my editrix will point up all the missing scenes that I still need to write.  Not that I think there are any missing scenes, but every time she's pointed one out in the past, I've seen that she was correct.  So now, I have fear.  Fortunately she's very busy right now, so I can send to others first in the hopes of heading off huge additions.  We'll see...  Wish me luck?

Don't get me wrong.  I really appreciate everything my editrix does for me.  More than one fic of mine, in either ENT or TLW, would be crap without her insight.  I'm just so ready to be done with S2.  I think that's why I'm so certain that she'll find something I've missed that really needs writing.  No way to know until I know, though, so best to stop sweating it, I suppose.

But yes, she is busy, so it may be awhile before she can get through the whole story for you.

She is wondering how poor Ian is possibly gonna be able to stay in Starfleet after this, though... ;->

No, no. Methinks you mistake my many betas, Leah. I first sent Log 2:27 to Squeaky, who I'm not surprised is also very busy. Then I sent it to JennyB and Fitanna. I still haven't sent it to my beta/editrix, Idris.

However, if you're saying that Squeaky found scenes that are missing and that I will therefore need to add... ::sigh:: Ah well. At least it will come from a different source this time. LOL

I, too, wonder about poor Ian. I fear he's not going to be with us in the Expanse, and that thought makes me sad. :-( Must think hard of way to get him straightened out enough to go kick some Xindi butt.

Oh, indeed. The idea of losing him makes me sad, too! But at this point he'd definitely have to save someone's life...
