Weekend Summary

The bedroom is painted! Woo-hoo! It's a gorgeous light green that changes with the light as the day progresses. It's totally awsome! Almost everything is back where it belongs, too. We just have to rehang the pics that go over the head of the bed and it'll be done, done, done. Yay! Also, since we had to move the CD cabinet out and back in again, I reorganized the CDs. And since we then had overflow, we moved a cabinet from the Pooh Room to the living room, and I also reorganized the DVDs. The Pooh Room and basement remain a mess of epic proportions, but I am otherwise very pleased with our weekend accomplishments. Now that we've painted and organized a bit, I'm going to try to keep up the momentum and start in on the Pooh Room. If we could just improve our organization and get rid of stuff we DO NOT NEED, it would be fabu.
I went to two parties on Sunday. Unfortunately they were 30 miles apart and my home is half way between them. Made for much driving that day. I'm glad I went to both, though. Two completely different sets of friends, all of whom are dear for many reasons, so it was really nice to get to see so many of them.
I've started adding counters to the ENT side of my website. (Everything on the TLW side has them already.) It's a case of too little, too late to give me any real information, but I do see that 16 people have at least looked at the new installment of Log Rhythms. This is encouraging, esp. as one of my readers replied to the update I sent out asking how many people actually read the series since the show's been off the air for two years and I'm still less than half way through S3. My market research experience tells me that about 250 people are reading, but market research is second only to marketing and advertising for absolute crap, so who really knows? I did get one response the day after I posted, and that was from someone whom I hadn't heard from before. Considering the length of the latest fic and the fact that this was a three-day weekend, I find that encouraging. Time will tell.
