Gearing Up
By MonkeyBard
Rating: PG
Length: 616
Universe: BBC
Summary: Crashed alien tech sends Torchwood to London.
Date: 1-2 August 2015
AP2: Timestamp. Pick a story you wrote in a previous year's JWP (or if this is your first year, any previous Holmesian story you've written, or if you have never written any Holmesian fic before one of the stories/movies/episodes from any Holmes-based canon) and show what happened either just before or just after it.
A/N: Prequel to 2014's JWP series Present Imperfect Tense. That makes it a cross-over with Torchwood/Doctor Who.

Rating: G
Length: 221B
Universe: BBC
Summary: Oleaginousness testing continues.
Date: 2 August 2015
AP3: Dubious Chemistry. Holmes has created a new solution with his chemistry experiments and Watson accidentally gets dosed, with hilarious results.
A/N: Not quite "hilarious", but one hopes amusing.

Annual Observances
By MonkeyBard
Rating: G
Length: 404
Universe: BBC
Summary: A birthday, a ghost, and a piano.
Date: 2 August 2015
AP4: Another Year Older and Surrounded By Idiots: Benedict Cumberbatch is not the only July birthday among Holmes actors – Robert Stephens (Private Life of Sherlock Holmes), Vasily Livanov (Russian Sherlock Holmes films), and William Gillette (the first stage Sherlock Holmes) share the month with him. Incorporate a birthday observance in some way.
A/N: If you've not met the ghost of Sherrinford Holmes yet, I don't know what to tell you. Maybe check out my JWP 2014 series A Weekend in the Country. That should have links back to his first story. Maybe.

"You needn't come if you don't like," Sherlock said. )

AP 5: 5 + 5 = 1. Create a poll on your own LJ listing up to five of your own Watson-centric fics that you would be willing to create an additional scene/story for. Leave the poll open for five days. Use the results and write that continuation.

Yeah, okay. Technically two of these aren't "Watson-centric", but they were all written for JWP so I figure they count. If there's something else you desperate want to see continued that isn't on the list, please leave it in the comments. Thanks!

Poll will be open until 8:00pm PDT 7 August.

AP6: Down in the mouth. Interpret the phrase as you wish!
A/N: Follow up to 2 July's Jaune John.

Sherlock's disguise was perfectly logical. )
