monkeybard | Growing more festive

Things are looking more festive around here, despite the lack of anything green and frondy. There are packages on the hearth (that need delivering) and several seasonal bits and bobs are out, inculding the Christmas Baby Kermit. :) I did some successful shopping yesterday, and placed orders for the things I was unsuccessful finding in the stores. Now I just need those orders (and the one I placed last week!)I to arrive so I can wrap them. Meantime, I can do some tidying up, but not all of it until prezzies are wrapped and I can put away the wrapping stuff. I wish I could stay home tonight and do a bit of grocery shopping and bake my fave holiday cookies, but sadly we must attend another function. This one's businessy instead of friendy, so I'm less excited. Although there is a host bar, so yay that. Guess I'll have to bake cookies tomorrow.

On another topic, is anyone else having trouble with LJ in Netscape 8.1.2? I was fine in 7.1, but I upgraded because it crashed a few times lately and I got the "you should upgrade" notice. Now I can no longer post to my journal using Netscape. I'm most annoyed about it. >:-| Ugrade, my ass. :-P
