Short story update

So I have this draft that friends are beta reading, and now I'm busily looking at everything I can find on query letters, hooks, et al.  It's fascinating on one level, daunting on another.  Still, at least what I'm going for is an open submission request deal so it's not just me knocking on e-doors trying to sell this lovely set of encyclopedias. lol This gives me hope as I hate selling things--esp. myself. Odd for an actor, no? Ah well.

No, just one short story. I just liked the encyclopedia analogy better than the vacuum cleaner analogy. ;)
