It cooled off enough overnight that I was able to sleep. Today the cloud cover is in. Yay! It's keeping the temp down a bit rather than keeping the heat in. Down to 78 in the house now. Still warmer than necessary, but not bad.
Water good. Water, tonic, sunscreen, and bugspray. And iambic pentameter. Welcome to my summer. ;)
60s sounds lovely. Our official high yesterday was 98, but it's usually hotter here than the airport where they take the official numbers. Today predicts high of 84, then 81 tomorrow, then we drop into the blessed 70s for opening weekend. Thankthegods and huzzahbaby.
You won't ever need it more than about three days out of the year, but it certainly wouldn't hurt if you have one to bring. It's much better today; hasn't topped 80 in my house. Although the sun did eventually break through the cloud layer. Ah well. At least it'll be nice for those lucky enough to be at the ballpark this evening.
