No Solicitors / No Canvassing

I need one of these signs.  Seeing as my Cub Scout is no longer around to sell mixed nuts and there's only one kid in the neighbourhood selling stuff for school, I need to get a sign to hang on the front railing that says "NO SOLICITORS / NO CANVASSING".   Then I just tell the kid across the street that his annual holiday wrapping paper sales are the exception to the rule, and we're golden.

Thanks. It's just so f*ing annoying. Why do people think that they have the right to accost my in my home? It's like a telemarketer showing up on your doorstep. There ought to be a law--or indeed several laws. Bleh!

I hear ya. You sign your phone up on the National Do Not Call registry? At least that way you'll put a stop to most telemarketer calls. For some reason, political and charity telemarketers are exempt from that registry. I wish they weren't, well at least the political telemarketers. I don't need them to tell me what to think or who to vote for. LOL
