For those on my flist who've not met me in person, here's a little something to help you understand me a little better.

Today, after I got home from looking after jauntie's kitties, I cleaned the bathroom and replaced the toilet seat.  When I did this I was dressed (and still am for that matter) as follows:

Purple Tevas
Black yoga pants
Embroidered burgundy pocket skirt fro Silk Road Tribal
Jim Boz "Got Hips?" black tank-top
"Poor Yorick" wristband
Oh, and for a brief time (after I got home but before cleaning the bathroom) I also had a thumbdrive on a lanyard around my neck.  ::shakes head::

I can't help it.  It just struck me as absurdly and totally "me", and I had to share.  ;)

Well, I was sitting in a car with my boss on the highway, looking down at my dorky uniform with my nametag shining up at me as I crocheted variegated yarn around the outside of a purple square. And today at work, a woman, in reference to a film crew using our parking lot brought up BSG, which of course led me to respond in kind and thus embarking on a dorktastic conversation in our Visitor's centre. It was awesome. but oh, SO Dorky today. I let all the geek hang right on out!
