Cleaning "house"

monkeybard"House" being my hard drive, of course. See, I've been trying (since fate gave me a kick in the ass disguised as a friendly reminder) to finish up an unfinished fanfic before NaNo starts tomorrow. Now had I done this in a timely fashion, I would have many ideas of how I want to wrap it up. Indeed I had many great ideas (from my own brain and from that of one of my fabu betas ::waves at jaunthie:: )--HAD being the operative word. I've lost track of most of them. Possibly all of them. I know there were 2 or 3 scenes left that I needed to write. Well I've written two scenes and yet I don't feel I'm all that much closer to being finished. Gah! And I told myself I couldn't open the new shoes that arrived yesterday until this was done. Smeg!
Okay, I just needed a break to whinge and whine about my own incompetence. We now return to your regularly scheduled day.
Oh. And I still don't have a plot for NaNo. At least I know who my MMC is now though, and I'm happy to announce it's not the a*hole I thought was the MMC. Of course, I think my genre has changed, and this makes me sad. We'll see... We'll see. First there's this f*ing fic to finish. NOW.
