Just pausing briefly to announce my current word count.  I'm going to get straight back to it now so that I know I have enough for NaNoWriMo's word counters to believe I'm over 50,000.  I recall them being distinctly stingy compared to my word counter last year.

ETA: And I was right.  My word counter currently says 50,325.  NaNoWriMo's says 50,178.  That's 147 words less.  Ah well.  I still win.  May I now please worry about how much sense this novel doesn't make?!

...and yes, now that you've hit the Magical Utterly Arbitrary Goal of 50K words, you get to worry about other things. :D

Thank you! and Thank you. It really doesn't make any sense. I'd like to tie everything together, but we'll see if it'll happen. Could be that once it's done a third of it gets edited out completely. There's just too damned much going on, IMO.
