...on a day when I really needed one.  It's Hell Week, and yet...  Due to weather and the fact that really we're in a very good place prep-wise, tonight's rehearsal was cancelled.  That means many things:

I get to eat a splendid steak dinner with NordicBoy.
I don't have to drive 36 miles round-trip in the rain and flooding streets.
I can watch Heroes and Life in HD instead of on vid taped off of the regular (ghosted) signal.
I might actually get to sleep before midnight.

So, not so much with the "Hell" part of "Hell Week". ;D

And a shout out to my local flist:  I have $5-off postcards for the show.  I have two reserved for [profile] devinam and [profile] lemurkitten (devinam, I'll bring them to you whenever we run this week - wed? thurs?); [personal profile] jaunthie has hers; and I've promised one to [profile] carrot_cake67 if she wants it.  Anyone else nearby want one?  I can mail them to you if you speak up (and I have your mailing address).

Boo for I-5 shutting down and keeping me from heading up to the big city for a concert. Damn, I hated eating the cost of those tickets.

On the bright side, I'm getting more work done. (Wait, that's a bright side?)

Oh, and am I the only one who gets an "Adult Content" warning now when I visit your blog? And has to click on a button that swears I'm at least fourteen years old? What the heck are you posting lately, woman? (And how did I miss it on the first go-around?)

K-Bob, off to explore the site...LOL!

Were you going to see Van Halen last night???

Yup on Van Halen. Saw them a couple years ago with Sammy Hagar singing lead; thought it would be appropriate to compare/contrast with David Lee Roth's performance. Alas, it was not to be.

Although I'm much better about the whole thing now, considering we didn't, you know, lose the house in the floods and all. Kinda helps get priorities straight.

Yes I would like it. I can't make it Friday night; I am wrapping presents at SeaTac mall that evening (to support the DM Food bank).

wed or thurs works for me, although if it keeps raining, i'm not very likely to want to go. don't so much care for the 'drowned cat' look. ;) i have half my stuff with me, i'll see if i can remember the other half tomorrow. :)
