Plague that is cell phones
Dec. 14th, 2007 09:29 amThis is for anyone who ever goes to any sort of theatre--live, movie, outdoor, whatever. CHECK YOUR CELL PHONE BEFORE THE SHOW STARTS. People are so plugged in it just kills me. And a little note to those who forget to check their cell phones: If someone else's goes off, the performers (and other audience members) would rather hear the soft scrambling of half the audience checking to make sure their phones are silent/off rather than hear a second cell phone ringing from somewhere else in the house. Gah!
Otherwise, last night was a Thursday. Not great, but not awful.

SPECIAL HELL

(where you're going if you don't mute your cellphone)
Granted, this won't stop incidents...but if you make folks laugh about it, or find some creative way to shame people into behaving nicely...well, at least you'll get the joy of creatively mocking someone.
