 No wonder we're producing illiterate numbwits. I just found this on a high school website:

"Report Cards: Do to a printing error report cards will not be ready to send out this week as planned."

Do to?  DO to? Morons. I give them a failing grade on grammar on their report card.

I just sent my bank a note about their website. A graphic they are using to promote digital statements highlights protecting the 'enviroment'.

Granted, it's a quickly rotating graphic so it's easy to miss, and typos occur. But they thanked me.

I've also seen typos on a metal plaque in the Hall of Presidents at Disneyworld. But nobody really reads those anyway. Except me.

My favourite was when last year's secretaries handed us report card envelopes that said "Please return the envalope to the classroom teacher." I hand-corrected all of them before I sent them home. I had to.
