How does your garden grow?
May. 31st, 2008 10:34 pmI don't like to garden. That's why I leave that yardish to NordicBoy. That said, there is a certain satsifaction to be gained from the wanton destruction inherent in weeding. Unfortunately, two and a half hours of wanton destruction wasn't enough to finish the job I was aiming to finish. I did the patio, the rhododendron bed, the other little rhodie, two raised beds, under the deck, and some a third raised bed. That was where I had to give up for the day. I had plenty of garden tools, but not the shovel I needed to get out these particular evil weeds and I was not going to go get one--even if it was only in the garage.
At least I had fun reenacting the shower scene from Psycho with a trowel and a big rectangle of dirt and weeds. Yeah. Wanton destruction with a positive result. I can handle that.
