Name game follow-up

For those of you who played along with my poll and made suggestions, I thought I'd let you know that I have renamed the bartender Gavin and the pub's errand boy Tiernan.  Oh and the first guy in the audition line is now Dylan and the arsehole actor has become Jens.  Eamon, though, is still and I suspect will remain Eamon.  ...  Unless he becomes Ethan.  Why is this boy so hard to pin down!?  Maybe he's just such a good actor that he can make himself fit whatever name I layer onto him.  Bastard.  ;-P

ETA:  Never mind.  I just realized that the TD is already named Ethan.

You're confused. My fingers won't hit the right keys. It's one of *those* days. ;P The other gent got renamed last time and that stuck pretty quick. His sister, however, was also just renamed this past week. Oy! My characters need to stop with the nameyness and be who they are already! ::rolls eyes::

Tell me about it. At least you only have character name changes...I had a whole PLOT change. LOL Hopefully with the long weekend I can make myself work on that there super sekret project. ;) *snickersnorts*

You know about that plot change...remember. It started out as one story...and totally shifted into the one I'm trying to get out now. It would be nice if my muse were a little more cooperative. ;) LOL

I certainly hope your story doesn't decide to change plots. It's no fun!

I don't know. Sometimes when a story changes plots it's because you've been writing the wrong one, so it shifts and becomes easier to write. ... Sometimes. ;)

Oh yeay - I'm glad you are reclaiming Gavin. On one of my reunion trips back to college, I met this fabulous undergrad actor boy named Gavin - who always wore the best mesh shirts for dance parties. So cute in the gay way - and someone who would inspire a story. So I hope he dances his way firmly into your narrative imagination.

I realized just yesterday that my fave supporting character in Lucy Monroe's book Deal With This is named Gavin. She needs to give him his own book; I liked him rather more than either of the two leads. This flag icon is particularly appropriate to him as a matter of fact. ;)
