Go figure

To say that I don't like football would be an understatement.  In fact, I loathe professional football.  I think if they were real men, they'd take off the pads and play rugby.  And I'll never forgive them for preempting so many things I wanted to watch on telly when I was a kid and there was no cable TV.

However...

The Seattle Seahawks are going to the SuperBowl.  And you know what? ...  That's fucking cool.  I now have the dimmest inkling of what it will be like when the Mariners finally make it to the World Series.   (They will!  Shut up!)

After all, someone in this town has to earn the damned stadium we built for them.

Go Hawks.
